How long does tea last?

Conventional teas have a best before date of 36 months, flavored teas of 24 months. In general, tea can last for several years if stored correctly.

Are the t-sac® tea filters compostable?

The tea filter used is biodegradable. It should be noted, however, that the rate of degradation depends heavily on temperature, humidity, oxygen, the presence of bacteria and the frequency of turning.

What flavors do we use?

We only use nature-identical and natural flavors.

Why doesn't TGH use only natural flavors?

Natural flavors are often very unstable. It is therefore advisable to consume teas with natural flavors within a few months.

How long is the delivery time for my order?

After receipt you will receive our order confirmation. Your order will then be processed on the next working day. Depending on availability, delivery time is usually 1-2 working days. Please note that delivery times may extend by a few days during the winter season.

How sustainable are we?

Sustainability has always been an important topic for us. We have been avoiding as much paper as possible for decades, operate a photovoltaic system and a large part of our fleet is already electrified. We reuse shipping boxes whenever possible and have recently started hosting our own bee colony.

Is TGH socially involved?

Every year, Tea Goetz Teehandel GmbH donates a generous amount to the Association for Children with Cancer Hannover e.V.

With our long-standing successful series Tee-Initiative®, we donate €0.20 to the MHH Hannover for every kilo of tea sold.

Where can I find and how do I receive offers and information?

You can find our current offers and information about our range in the download area of our shop. If you have subscribed to our newsletter, you will of course also receive our offers/information by email.

Why don't I see prices in the shop?

Our offer is aimed at specialist retailers and traders. Our sales team will be happy to provide you with access to our webshop.

Are we represented at trade fairs?

Personal contact is very important to us, which is why you meet us regularly at trade fairs at home and abroad.

Do we offer private labels?

Are we certified?

We are an IFS-certified company in the tea filter sector. We are also organic and fair trade and FSC® certified and use the HACCP concept. We also work according to ISO structures.

What support will I receive when opening a new business?

How is tea stored properly?

Tea should be stored in the closed original container or container in a cool, dry place.

What quality standard does TGH have?

3D soft blending is a particularly gentle mixing process developed by us that guarantees optimal tea quality and gentle processing.

All our tea creations are mixed and packed in accordance with EU food hygiene guidelines. We regularly carry out quality and hygiene checks to guarantee flawless production. Microbiological examinations are also carried out regularly.

Both our loose and our packaged goods are identified by a batch number. This guarantees complete traceability and therefore meets the highest quality control standards.

Internally, our tea testers carry out sensory tests on our creations every day. In addition, the eurofins institute − Dr. Specht Laboratorien in Hamburg regularly carries out residue checks for us.

For all products, we fully comply with the legal food labeling obligation, including specifications.

What does TGH produce?

First and foremost, we stand for high-quality, exclusive tea creations. Our range also includes a wide selection of tea filters. All of our products are developed, tested and produced at our headquarters. This way we can guarantee consistently optimal quality.

Are your organic teas produced according to the new organic regulations?

We already have a selection of organic teas that comply with the new EU organic regulation (EU) 2018/848. Our organic range is gradually being adjusted accordingly.

Why does TGH have a limited range of accessories?

Our main focus is on the development and production of exclusive tea creations as well as tea and water filters. Our range of accessories should be seen as a supplement.

As a retailer, do I have to be organic certified to sell organic tea?

As a specialist tea retailer, you can resell our packaged organic teas without being certified yourself.
